September 19, 2007
Consolidated Fastfrate’s new $10 million, 65,000 square foot transload facility celebrates its grand opening today in Burnside. This impressive new facility will unload and sort import cargo for major retailers and allows the transport of goods by truck or rail to store shelves across Eastern and Central Canada.
Fastfrate will unload and sort some 500 containers a week, leaving marine containers free to be used for export. This distribution and warehouse facility is a valuable and welcomed addition to the Port of Halifax.
